Leslie Northcutt
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Leslie was born and raised in Brownwood, Tx before graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a major in Biology. After leaving Arlington Leslie completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at San Angelo State University in 2013. Leslie was married to Charles Northcutt that same year and worked in Galveston while he finished school at Texas A&M Galveston. After several exciting years of living by the coast the two decided to move closer to home in order to start a family and quickly welcomed their daughter, Heidi Northcutt, into the fold in 2016. Leslie has a real passion for helping people through her love of physical therapy. Leslie has had the privilege to become certified in Neuro IFRAH which focuses on the care of patients who have suffered a stroke or had a traumatic brain injury. She is also certified in an exciting new program called LSVT BIG which aims to help patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Leslie has implemented this program at ETPT and trained several of the staff members. In addition, she has started a local Parkinson’s support group, and has a special place in her heart for those afflicted by this disease. Recently, Leslie underwent training to be certified in dry needling. She was first exposed to this pain relief technique during a clinical rotation in Colorado, and saw it deliver tremendous results for patients, and is excited to be able to offer this service here in Texas. When Leslie is not treating patients, she enjoys working on her fitness, hiking, and traveling with her family. Leslie is also proud to be a member of Sulphur Springs’ own Mother’s Culture Club. However, Leslie’s absolute favorite thing to do is to spend time and play with her wonderful daughter, husband, and dogs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
